Airpointer® Air Quality Monitoring System

Compact modular air monitoring for gases, particulate matter, and site data.

Airpointer® is a compact, modular air quality monitoring system designed for point-of-interest measurement of gases, particulate matter, and additional environmental sensor data.

Airpointer compact air quality monitoring system with gas measurement options

Next generation compact air quality monitoring.

The system combines a compact base unit with configurable modules and browser-based access in one field-ready monitoring platform — see System Design below for the full module lineup.

Because Airpointer® can be configured for each application, users can monitor pollutants and site conditions where local data is needed most.

System Design
Airpointer modular air quality monitoring system with pollutant modules

Modular construction for application-specific air monitoring.

Airpointer® uses a modular design built around a base unit, analyzing modules, sensor modules, and optional external inputs. This allows each system to be configured around the pollutants, data needs, and installation requirements of the site.

The compact housing allows installation in locations where traditional monitoring stations may be too large, while the internal temperature and energy management systems support stable field operation.

Module and Sensor Options

  • Gas Modules: Ozone, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen oxides, ammonia, VOC, and BTEX options.
  • PM Options: PM10, PM2.5, TSP, nephelometer, laser spectrometer, and approved PM analyzer configurations.
  • Sensor Inputs: Meteorology, wind direction, wind velocity, traffic count, noise, GPS, and other third-party sensors.
  • Interfaces: External instruments can be integrated through Ethernet, RS-232, analog signals, and Modbus-style communication options.

Flexible monitoring with lower operating effort.

Airpointer® is designed to be easy to install, cost-effective to operate, and simple to maintain while supporting high-quality monitoring data.

Compact

Compact Installation

The compact cabinet design supports a wide range of mounting options — see Deployment Options below for specifics.

Modular

Configurable Modules

Analyzer modules and sensor inputs can be selected to match each monitoring application.

Efficient

Lower Operating Effort

Advanced temperature and energy management reduces power consumption compared with conventional monitoring stations.

Connected

Remote Data Access

Full remote access is available without special software — see Data and Access below.

Installation

Permanent, mobile, and point-of-interest deployment.

Airpointer® can be used for permanent monitoring where continuous data is required, or for temporary and mobile monitoring where measurements need to move between sites.

This range of mounting and deployment options lets a single system serve both fixed monitoring programs and short-term or mobile campaigns without requiring different hardware for each.

Deployment Options

  • Permanent: Pole or wall mounting for continuous monitoring over extended periods.
  • Mobile: Vehicle, pickup truck, trailer, or temporary monitoring campaigns.
  • Point of Interest: Hot spots, traffic corridors, public areas, schools, airports, and indoor locations.
  • Fast Startup: Designed to be ready for operation within approximately 30 minutes after setup.
